British artist Matt Copson, with composer Oliver Leith, will present a monumental installation within the caves of Aspen’s storied Smuggler Mine. Celebrated for his virtuosic laser animations, innovative theater works, and his 2022 opera made also in collaboration with Leith, Copson will develop a site-specific, immersive environment that draws from the mine’s organic and built architectures to create a singular audiovisual world.
